13th Annual USAC Hose Advantage Hall of Fame Classic at Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, AZ
Bryan Clauson extended his AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car point lead to 13 points as a result of his 30-lap victory at Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway. He will take that lead over Dave Darland into the October 25-26 Hose Advantage Hall of Fame Classic at Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, Ariz.
Clauson, of Noblesville, Ind., raked in the $10,000 winner’s share of “City of Lawrenceburg Fall Nationals,” leading the final 14 laps in his Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing Chevy Performance/Curb Records Beast/Kistler. Chase Stockon took second ahead of Darland, Kevin Thomas Jr. and Justin Grant.
Stockon led the first six laps, yielded to Darland on lap seven, then led the next nine before Clauson finally took over. The win was Clauson’s sixth in the AMSOIL National series this year and his 17th USAC feature win in all series.
