11/12 2014

After a record breaking 2014 season, Arizona Speedway wraps up the year November 15th with the 2nd annual Napa Night at the races featuring Super Late Models, Neils Garage Cabinets Pure Stocks, Mod Lites , Robert Horne Ford Bombers and finish up with the guys and girls that make it all happen, in the Mechanics Race.

Joey Moriarty claimed the payday in last years season finale sponsored by Napa Autoparts and will look to repeat in 2014 as many of the south wests stand out Late Model racers along with the drivers that enjoy the Arizona winters including Don Shaw.   Parker, Williams and many more of the south west stand outs will  compete in the $1500 to win season finale.

Pure stocks will wrap up their championship season as  Arron Hetrick sits 29 points ahead of Kevin Parker headed into the final main event of 2014.  Zach Griggs who does unofficially look to hold the 2014 Rookie of the year honors will battle with  Mike Kruse for 4th place in the championship as  only 3 points separate the 2 headed into Saturday nights feature.

Modlites also stake their claim  Saturday night as they take part in the Napa Autoparts night running wheel to wheel in their 20 lap main event coming off of a stellar performance in their last high speed feature that left Adam Echter  in victory lane.  The season points leader with only 3 races left for the AMA Modlites Brenden Priest will play the game on Saturday night as he sits only 1 point over Tyler Merrill heading into Saturday nights feature.

Robert Horne Ford Bombers finish off their 2014 season with only 1 point separating Steve Soboski and Mark Farnes after 25 nights of racing in the 2014 season.  Michael Brigner who lead most of the 2014 season until 3 races ago will need to make up a 14 point deficit on Saturday night.  The winner of Saturday nights main event will take home $150 but the battle is on for the nearly $1000 payday in the 2014 Robert Horne Ford Bomber season championship.

The final event of the evening will be the guys and girls that make it all happen every week at Arizona Speedway.  The mechanics of the divisions will challenge for the trophy themselves as they strap themselves behind the wheel and battle in a 15 lap main event as the pit crew puts themselves head to head in the cars the serve all year long in the 3rd annual Mechanics Race.

Racing action begins at 6:30pm  Saturday night November 15th. Cost of admission for this special show is $15 for adults, $12 Seniors, $5 kids 7-11 and kids 6 and under are FREE. Arizona Speedway is located within ET Motopark 4 miles south of US60 on Ironwood Dr. just 5 minutes from Mesa, AZ. .
