The 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series schedule was released on Wednesday, and it looks a lot like the 2018 schedule.

Again, the series is 24 races. No new venues were added to the schedule and no venues lost their date.

The biggest change is that Richmond and Topeka are swapping dates, with the Virginia NHRA Nationals at Richmond moving from the second weekend in June to May 17-19 and NHRA Heartland Nationals at Topeka moving from the third weekend in May to June 7-9.

The other minor changes show the NHRA SpringNationals in Houston moving up one weekend to take place April 12-14. Meanwhile, the AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals in St. Louis are shifting down the calendar one week to Sept. 27-29.

Noteworthy on the 2019 schedule will be the 50th annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals at Florida’s Gainesville Raceway March 14-17. Plans for that race include the culmination of the yearlong NHRA Legends Tour, where greats from the NHRA’s past gather to meet fans and share stories.

All 24 events in this exciting series will be again broadcast on FOX Sports network.
