 AZ Speedway

The 2015 dirt track season kicks off this Saturday night March 21st at Arizona Speedway. Reigning champions, past champions and inspiring champions will fill the pits for this annual event and begin their quest in the 2015 points chase. Returning champions Allen Kelley, Arron Hetrick and Steve Soboski will all look for repeat performances of the previous year in their divisions while the modified division will see a new champion for 2015.

 San Tan Fords South West Modified Championship are in full swing as the traveling division has already seen epic side by side racing at sister track Casa Grandes Central Arizona Speedway where Brian Schultz, Don Earven, John Morris Jr. and Chaz Baca Jr. round out the top 4 in overall points early in the season. Ricky Thornton Jr who has put together 3 wins in a row currently sits 5th in overall points standings. March 21st will add another night to collect points in the championship series along with the first night of Arizona Speedway track points in the IMCA division.

 Neils Garage Cabinets Pure stock champion Mr. Smooth Arron Hetrick will be the man with the bulls eye on his back as Kevin Parker, Daren Olney and the rest of the Pure Stock division will look to set the tone early in the 2015 season opener. Neils Garage Cabinets has added and extra $200 to the winners share for opening night guaranteeing $500 to win the Saturday night feature.

 Allen Kelley celebrated his back to back Super Stock championships and has new equipment behind him that would have made him a favorite in the 2015 chase. The 21K machine opted to let brother Eric race to a win already this season at CAS in a heated battle with Rob Colclasure that will leave the door open for a new champion in 2015.

 Robert Horne Ford Bombers enjoyed the off season and will open up their seasons as the only weekly division at Arizona Speedway. The 22 race points season kicks off at the season opener and will set the bar for who is who in the Robert Horne Ford Bomber division in 2015. 2 time champ Steve Soboski will have his hands full once again as Mark Farnes, Virgil McArthur and all of the other contenders have stepped up their game for the 2015 season.

 The ladies of the Dirt Doll and Powder Puff divisions will finish off the night and begin their 7 race points battle for 2015. Shawna Meeks and Sharron Soboski are expected to make a run to back up their 2014 championships.

 Racing action begins at 7:00pm Saturday night March 21st. Cost of admission $12 for adults, $10 Seniors, $5 kids 7-11 and kids 6 and under are FREE.
