Racing Roundup-Arizona, the fastest and most important two hours on radio, is an independently owned and produced motorsports show and has become the motorsports fan’s destination for Phoenix and the Southwest. The fast-paced show is based on Terry Jeffords-owned and produced The Racing Roundup Show in Milwaukee, WI. Since Jeffords untimely death in 2000, the Milwaukee show’s host and Speed Channel announcer, Jim Tretow has been the driving force behind the program. We congratulate The Racing Roundup Show in Milwaukee on celebrating their 27th anniversary of broadcasting in 2011.

I have lost a dear friend with an infectious smile
Clearly, she was only meant to be here for awhile
But in the short time she was here with us
Each and every heart she touched… felt joyous

A drink in her hand and pursuit of a new quest
Will be the way I will remember her best
One to always take the next chance
She surely wouldn’t have missed the dance

Now God has taken her up with him
And the stars above seem much more dim
Our hearts have sunk like a setting sun
For her life on earth is over and done

But in our hearts she will forever remain
And so with this, I will try to refrain
From the sorrow and sadness that’s pitched
And in its place, celebrate her life so full and so rich

Joyce, my mentor, my teacher and friend so dear
There is only one thing that is ever so clear
To have known you as I did…sure was a pleasure
And for this friendship l will always treasure

Mission Statement

Racing Roundup-Arizona will provide Arizona Race Fans, Friends and Sponsors an interactive outlet for the review and discussion of motorsports information and issues. The show will focus on bringing the Racer and the fan closer together through live reporting and personal interviews. Our interactive venue offers fans the opportunity to “get up close” to drivers, crews and cars, in a non-race pressure environment. (est 1997)
