The former senior vice president, chief sales officer and chief marketing officer for Indianapolis Motor Speedway was found dead in his home in Winter Park, Florida this past weekend.

On Jan. 14, Winter Park police identified the victim as Michael Redlick, 65.

Reddick was the director of External Affairs and Corporate Partnerships for the DeVos Sport Business Management at the University of Central Florida. An official with the Winter Park police said they got a call about a dead body in the 1200 block of Temple Drive on Saturday afternoon.

They found Redlick and said investigators had reason to believe he did not die naturally.

Redlick worked at IMS from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that he was the vice president of Business Development for the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers.
