2003 Winston Cup Series Champion to conduct Q&A with military & fans afterward at Hard Rock Café
PHOENIX – NASCAR star Matt Kenseth, driver of the No. 20 Dollar General Toyota Camry, will perform a “burnout” on the streets of Phoenix next Wednesday, September 24, to promote the upcoming Quicken Loans Race for Heroes 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix International Raceway.
The burnout, in which Kenseth will smoke the rear tires on his race car while spinning the car around in donuts, will take place at 11:30 a.m. MST on 3rd St. between Washington St. and Jefferson St. Kenseth will be available for interviews with Phoenix media beginning at 11:00 a.m. next to his race car in front of the Phoenix Convention Center South Building.
Following the burnout, the 2003 Winston Cup Series champion and two-time Daytona 500 winner will conduct a moderated question-and-answer session with fans and military members from the Papago Park Military Reservation at the Hard Rock Café.
