“Racin” Jason Noll Starts His Championship Defense at The Copper on Dirt

(February 17th, 2014) – Jason Noll earned his first IMCA Modified Championship along with the $1500 champion check when he narrowly beat Anthony Madrid and Ricky Thornton in the Canyon Speedway Park season finale last September and earned the covenant title of IMCA Modified Champion. Noll, who opened the New Year with a Winter Challenge victory, will mount up for the Copper on Dirt and his 2014 title defense with a clear goal to win races and repeat as champion.

With the season just a few weeks away and the IMCA Modified contingent aiming for Noll’s title, Canyon Speedway Park will again offer up $1500 to the 2014 CSP IMCA Modified Champion for their efforts with additional IMCA State and Regional Championship funds at stake.

A sensational cast of IMCA Modifieds will take part in the 7th running of the Copper on Dirt. The IMCA Modifieds will start the 2014 Canyon Speedway Championship season as a host of top drivers from across the country aim for Copper on Dirt glory as well as the IMCA crown. It is anticipated that 2012 Champion, Cody Center, will aim for a second title while Noll and many others will try to lay claim on the 2014 championship.

The West Coast Shootout Late Model Series will set the stage for their championship season as the prestigious touring series kicks off the 2014 Championship Season at the Peoria, Arizona facility.

The Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car hopefuls will make their way to CSP to start the year off at one of the premier events of the season. Damion Gardner will lead a large cast of the CRA Sprint Cars into battle as they all look ahead at the next USAC/CRA Champion.

The super fast USAC Western Midgets will fill the card making for a spectacular event as the four premier divisions tackle the 1/3-mile clay oval for two complete nights of racing action on Februarry 28th and March 1st, with more than $100,000 in prize money to be distributed over the course of the blockbuster event.
