“RR-AZ ALUM and”…NASCAR Hall-of-Famer Mark Martin builds ‘beast’ of a lawn mower

$10,000 MACHINE MAKES MOWING THE LAWN A BREEZE

Former NASCAR driver Mark Martin hasn’t raced in the Monster Energy Cup Series since 2013, but that doesn’t mean he’s been sitting still.

Martin won 40 races at the highest level and enjoyed one of the longest careers in NASCAR history. He owns two car dealerships, one with Chevrolet and another with Ford in his native Arkansas, and also owns Mark Martin Powersports & Marine. Part of his inventory, based on a Wednesday tweet, is a lawn mower.

But this isn’t just any lawn mower, however. This one is a beast.

The Spartan SRT, Mark Martin edition, is a 72-inch cut riding Vanguard with a big block 37-hp engine that will power the 1,205 pound machine at 11 mph. Oh, and it has an LCD dash, a 12-volt auxiliary power outlet with a cup and phone holder.

The retail on the “beast” is just over $10,000. Martin tweeted a picture of himself and a buyer Wednesday. Not only can you mow your yard like a boss, but you’ll likely do it faster than any of your neighbors. There’s also no word on if NASCAR requires a pre-lawn cutting inspection.
